The HR Manager oversees day-to-day HR operations, ensuring efficient processes, compliance with employment laws, and employee satisfaction. This role leads HR administrative functions, manages the HR Generalist, and connects HR strategy with execution.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Compliance: Manage daily HR activities; ensure legal compliance, accurate reporting, and audit readiness.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Oversee recruitment and onboarding; ensure quality hires and smooth integration; supervise the HR Generalist’s hiring tasks.
Performance & Development: Support performance reviews, employee development, training, and career planning; track and report trends.
Employee Relations & Engagement: Address employee concerns, coach managers, support investigations, and promote engagement and culture initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits: Assist with salary planning, payroll, and benefits administration; monitor workforce data.
Documentation: Ensure employment actions and communications comply with laws and policies; coordinate with leaders on promotions, offers, and related processes.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (HR, business, or related field preferred)
3+ years in Human Resources management preferred
SHRM-CP or PHR desired
Strong knowledge of multi-state and federal employment laws
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
High integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with HRIS and talent systems
