Job Description
Our client, located in NW Marietta, has a great opportunity for a detail-oriented, experienced Part Time, Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team. They are a leader in the numismatic industry and operate a high volume, fast-paced organization with multiple sales channels comprised of 3 Companies: Retail, Wholesale and Online with 12+ accounts (Cash, Bank and Card).
Job Responsibilities:
• Accounts Receivable and Payables
• Assist Sales Team with Invoicing
• Post Vendor Payments
• Post Daily Journal Entries from the retail POS System to QBO
• Weekly review & reporting A/R, A/P and any unresolved transactions
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Process Auction settlements, billing and invoicing
• Ensure compliance with accounting and AML policies and procedures
• Process 8300 reports in a timely manner
• Maintain records for the CPA and assist with 1099's and annual tax information
• Prepare and present monthly operating statements
• File timely sales tax reports and deposits with State
• Participate in creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting processes
• Assist with projects as needed
Requirements:
• Accounting certificate, degree, or work equivalent
• Experience with Quick Books Online
• Self-Starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams, Bravo Systems is a bonus
• Proactive problem solver with strong analytical skills
• Openness to learning and adapting
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
