Human Resources Generalist
Location: Onsite across multiple offices in Cobb, Fulton, and Gwinnett counties
Work Hours: Full-Time, Mon-Fri, 9-5 (some evenings and weekends as needed)
Our client, Matalon Management Group, is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to support their network of bail bond offices. You will drive recruitment, employee engagement, and compliance efforts to support their committed and engaged team. This role demands someone adaptable, personable, and able to connect effectively with employees across varying shifts and locations.
Job Responsibilities
- Recruitment Oversight: Lead a consistent recruitment effort to ensure you attract and hire top-quality talent. This includes sourcing new candidates and maintaining a pool of candidates ready to fill open positions.
- Onboarding & Recognition: Conduct new hire onboarding to ease new hire transitions and foster employee recognition efforts.
- HR Administration: Manage and execute HR programs covering compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, performance management, and productivity.
- Learning & Development: Administer and manage the learning dashboard, developing and updating training materials to support team growth.
- Employee Relations: Address employee inquiries and employment-related issues, referring complex cases to the appropriate staff as needed.
- Compliance & Policy Review: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws, regularly updating policies to reflect best practices.
- Payroll Processing: Run weekly payroll using Paycom, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Travel Across Offices: Regularly travel between locations to develop relationships with staff, perform interviews, and conduct necessary HR activities onsite.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years previous HR Generalist experience in a construction, manufacturing, or services type of environment
- Previous payroll experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an approachable style suited for various audiences
- High interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical abilities, capable of prioritizing and critical thinking
- Ability to work with a high level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other HR software (such as Paycom)
Work Environment and Culture
- This role requires flexibility and comfort working in a range of office settings, with a willingness to adapt to various communication styles.
- You must be able to work after hours on occasion to meet with evening staff.
- A fuel reimbursement is provided for travel between locations.

Compensation
- Salary: $70k-$75k.
