Employee Engagement Manager with a focus on employee relations and development and training.
Location: Onsite in Peachtree City
Our client, a global leader in the sheet metal industry, is adding an Employee Engagement Manager to their fast-growing company that is focusing on a fun and productive culture with an emphasis on high levels of employee satisfaction and engagement.
Our client is looking for an Employee Engagement Manager who loves the people side of HR. This company has a PEO and also a higher level HR consultant – so this role is very focused on recruitment and employee satisfaction and engagement.
The best candidate will be energized by:
- Spending time with employees – finding out how they are doing and what they need. We want someone that will enjoy being with our people
- Helping the managers by finding/developing training and development programs for their employees
- Creating new employee engagement programs and a reward program and that is fun and exciting
- Figuring out new ways to hire new employees. We need someone that is creative and experienced in looking for new team members using innovative sources – possibly job fairs, trade schools, unique job boards. We need someone that can create a great talent acquisition strategy that is iterative and interesting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions.
- Develop and implement employee engagement activities to promote a positive workplace environment, enhance job satisfaction, and build a strong organizational culture.
- Help create employee development plans and career progression
- Serve as a trusted advisor for employees and leadership
- Support managers in supporting their teams.
- Work with company leadership on all people related initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related experience
- 3+ years of progressive experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations and talent acquisition.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability and desire to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems is a plus
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
COMPENSATION: $85-90k depending on relevant experience
