Our client, a general contractor located in Suwanee, GA, is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join their wonderful team. This well-established business has a great reputation in their industry and has a long-tenured, family-oriented team

This position will be worked totally onsite at the corporate headquarters in Suwanee. Normal business hours are 8am – 5pm.

You will sit at the company's Reception Desk and will act as the Receptionist as part of your duties. Therefore, our client is looking for candidates with a professional appearance and polished communication style.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee a multi-line switchboard by answering calls, monitoring voice mails, maintaining the in-out schedule board, and setting up phone lines for new employees
  • Greet clients and other guests as they enter the office
  • Provide administrative assistance to the team by maintaining spreadsheets, copying, faxing, and assisting with other projects as needed
  • Make travel arrangements including flights, rental cars, hotels, AirBnBs, and long-term stay hotel reservations
  • Open and distribute mail
  • Prepare packages for shipping and arrange courier pick-ups/drop-offs
  • Order and organize supplies for the office and breakroom
  • Manage office equipment maintenance and repair
  • Plan and execute company events and functions
  • Order and negotiate prices for business cards, tap tags, and company apparel

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 5 years of administrative and receptionist experience in a corporate office setting
  • Professional appearance
  • Warm, friendly personality and phone presence
  • Solid MS Word and Excel skills
  • Previous solid corporate travel experience
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Proactive problem solver
  • Positive, customer service mindset

Compensation includes a salary of $60,000 - $65,000 depending on experience, plus a strong benefit offering that includes medical, dental, vision, life, LTD/STD, FSA, 401k with match, and PTO (10 days per year).
