Our client, a global leader in the sheet metal industry, is adding a Human Resources
Manager to their fast-growing team. This role is perfect for a candidate with strong experience in leading employee development, managing employee relations, and talent acquisition.  

The Human Resources Manager will be a key player in handling all facets of human resources, with a focus on recruiting top talent, fostering employee growth, and maintaining positive workplace relations. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in full-cycle recruitment, employee engagement, conflict resolution, and ensuring HR compliance.  If you're a strategic thinker with the ability to work across departments and contribute to the overall success of the organization, then you will thrive in this role!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions.
  • Design and manage competitive salary structures, benefit programs, and incentives to attract and retain top talent
  • Develop and implement employee engagement activities to promote a positive workplace environment, enhance job satisfaction, and build a strong organizational culture.
  • Help create employee development plans and career progression paths to provide employees the opportunity for career growth and development.
  • Lead the management of employee onboarding to ensure a great employee experience and provide them with the tools they need to succeed in their role.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and management.
  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  • Conduct data analysis of workforce/company trends to help improve employee retention, performance, and other HR metrics.
  • Support managers in the performance review process, providing training and guidance as needed.
  • Enhance and optimize  ADP software to better meet the needs of our growing organization.
  • Advise management on HR policies and best practices to maintain compliance with labor laws.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations and talent acquisition. 
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.

COMPENSATION: $90-95k
