Job Title: Financial Planning Associate
Location: On-site at the office location in Suwanee (30024), off GA-141
Schedule: Full-Time

Our client is a well-established, Christ-Centered Financial Planning Firm that has been around for 35 years. Innovative Outsourcing is excited to partner with our client to find a full-time Financial Planning Associate.

Position Overview

This is a professional position that will support the firm’s lead advisors directly in managing existing and new client relationships. You will be expected to assist in various projects including portfolio reviews and preparing financial projections using RightCapital financial planning software and Gap Analysis program. Computer and technology skills are essential with the ability to quickly learn new software. A working knowledge of portfolio allocation and investment management is expected. The lead advisors are available to provide mentoring and big picture direction, but you must have the ability to utilize critical thinking skills, work independently, and anticipate firm needs and client questions.

Responsibilities

Provide support to lead Advisors, which includes but is not limited to:
  • Run illustrations and prepare action plans
  • Problem solving for open client tasks
  • Relay information between advisors and clients
  • Respond to client calls and needs when a lead advisor is not available
  • Calculate and help execute trades, once trained to do so
  • Communicate with clients’ other advisors (i.e., lawyers, CPAs, etc.) to help bring clarity to client issues
  • Assist lead advisors in preparation for client meetings (review/estate/tax)
  • Assist lead advisors during meetings by taking notes and actively listening, then completing next steps/meeting summaries
  • Work with Operations Manager to coordinate paperwork, applications, distributions, and other client needs
  • Other projects and planning as needed.
Professional Development:
  • Research subjects (investment, tax, estate, etc.) and help relay that knowledge to other advisors in the office
  • Meet with other advisors to gain knowledge in areas of planning
  • Network with clients and professionals to build additional client relationships
  • Attend KA conference and monthly meetings other advisors
  • Read books as assigned by Managing Principal (list will be provided to Planning Associate)
  • Obtain CFP Series 7, 66 and Insurance

Candidate Requirements

  • Financial degree or other, Series 7 and CFP preferred but not required

Compensation

  • Salary: $63K-$68K

  • Simple IRA matching up to 3% of salary
  • Generous vacation/free/personal/holiday day policy for a total of 30 days 

Will pay for someone to obtain their CFP or any other licensing necessary.
