Job Description
Our client, Southeast Restoration, a 2024 Inc. Best Places to Work, is expanding and seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist for their faith-based, team-driven organization in Canton, GA. This in office role focuses on sourcing, attracting, and securing top talent in the restoration industry, including mitigation & restoration technicians, project managers, estimators, General Managers, and support personnel. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who excels in pipeline development, networking, and strategic sourcing to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Sourcing & Recruitment Strategy:
- Develop and implement proactive recruitment strategies to identify and attract top restoration professionals.
- Utilize job boards, social media, industry networks, and employee referrals to build a talent pipeline.
- Establish relationships with trade schools, apprenticeship programs, and industry associations to source candidates.
- Maintain and leverage a candidate database for current and future hiring needs.
Candidate Engagement & Hiring Process:
- Screen, interview, and assess candidates based on job requirements and company culture fit.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand specific staffing needs and create targeted recruitment plans.
- Facilitate a seamless candidate experience, ensuring prompt follow-ups and transparent communication.
- Coordinate interviews and manage job offers
Employer Branding & Networking:
- Represent the company at career fairs, trade shows, and industry networking events to enhance brand awareness.
- Develop engaging job postings and recruitment marketing materials.
- Leverage social media and digital platforms to attract and engage passive candidates.
Resource & Data Management:
- Track key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source effectiveness.
- Maintain compliance with all employment laws and company hiring policies.
- Manage recruitment budgets and external vendor relationships (e.g., staffing agencies, job boards).
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3-5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, restoration, or skilled trades.
- Proven ability to source passive candidates through multiple channels.
- Strong understanding of hiring processes, employment laws, and best practices.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ApplicantStack), Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume hiring environment.
- Experience recruiting for roles such as Water/Mold Technicians, Estimators, Project Managers, and Restoration Specialists a plus.
- Background in high-growth, field-service-based environments a plus.
