Strategic Account Executive

Overview: Our Manufacturing client is looking to bring on a Strategic Account Executive with a sales background or formal Education within the Application Engineering space. The ideal candidate will have the interpersonal skillset to facilitate current customer interaction, upsell ability, and develop a strong understanding of their product line.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for new clients and increase sales with existing client base
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and new prospects
  • Conduct strategic sales conversations with clients and prospects about the existing product lines and current capabilities offered to help meet customer needs
  • Support the local team as required in sales/technical discussions with clients
  • Coordinate sales/technical meeting with customers
  • Pursue new markets and/or applications
  • Prepare strategic proposals/documents
  • Prepare and implement periodical sales status reports
  • Travel as required (mostly local)

Requirements:

  • Direct Sales/Business Development experience
  • Application Engineering/Engineering Sales background or Engineering Degree
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team building skills
  • Experience/Understanding of Gas Compression and Industrial refrigeration products (nice to have)
  • Basic knowledge of Application Engineering (nice to have)
