Job Description:

Our company is currently seeking a skilled manual machinist with experience in manual lathes and mills, API threads, blueprints, measuring instruments, and maintaining close tolerances. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

- Operate manual lathes and mills to produce precision parts according to blueprints and engineering specifications.
- Set up and adjust machines, tools, and equipment to meet the needs of the job.
- Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions and maintain close tolerances.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to meet customer requirements.
- Perform maintenance on machines, tools, and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manual machining.
- Must have experience with manual lathes and mills, API threads, blueprints, measuring instruments, and maintaining close tolerance work.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
