Job Description

We are seeking an associate dentist with a great personality who does great dental work to join our team!

This is a private practice located a little north of Columbia, Missouri. As a dentist in our practice, you will provide superior dental care to our patients with the assistance of an amazing and experienced team.

In this position, you will be responsible for the oral health of your patients. You will perform procedures to diagnose and treat cavities, cracked or fractured teeth and oral diseases. You will also administer medications and anesthetics for tooth extractions, root canals, and other surgical procedures.

Practice is located in a small community of about 13,500. Great Park in town with disk golf, swimming pool, and walking trails. Just a short drive to three large public lakes that are great for boating, fishing, swimming, and camping. There are a lot of state parks nearby for those who enjoy hiking and hunting.

Job Duties:

• Examine, diagnose, prescribe, and carry out services and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other providers, as well as all other clinical and non-clinical personnel as necessary.
• Uphold the policy, protocol, and procedures which are in compliance with the most current accepted professional standards.
• Improving clinical skills and acumen through participation in continuing education and training opportunities (continuing education support is available). 
• Participate in various community outreach initiatives as necessary.

Required Experience:

• DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
• Current, valid license to practice dentistry in state where providing care (License must be in good standing) or eligible for licensure.
• Other certifications as required by state to include- CPR, DEA, etc.
