Essential Duties:

•Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments.

•Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile environments.

•Perform pre- and post-operative tasks, including patient prep and equipment sterilization.

•Ensure all surgical equipment is functional and ready for use.

•Accurately document procedures and manage inventory.

Responsibilities:

•Position and prepare patients for surgery.

•Provide hands-on surgical support by managing instruments and retracting tissues.

•Maintain strict aseptic techniques and a sterile field.

•Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless operations.

•Stay current with surgical advancements through training.

Requirements:

•Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by NBSTSA.

•Licensure: Active certification and licensure per Texas state regulations.

•Education: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.

•Experience: Preferred prior experience in surgical settings.

•Skills: Proficiency in instrument handling, sterile techniques, and surgical procedures.
