Job Description

Duration:

•Contract Term: 2024–2025 School Year

Key Responsibilities:

•Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to address students’ specific needs.

•Provide direct and indirect behavioral support services to students in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

•Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to implement and monitor the effectiveness of behavior intervention strategies.

•Deliver training and coaching to teachers and support staff on behavioral techniques and best practices.

•Monitor and analyze data to evaluate the progress and effectiveness of intervention plans.

•Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on behavior management and student progress.

•Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding behavior analysis services in schools.

•Select and manage appropriate materials and resources for behavior interventions.

•Provide crisis intervention and support as needed to promote a safe and productive learning environment.

Qualifications:

Required:

•Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.

•Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.

•Valid Maryland State License or eligibility to obtain one.

•Strong understanding of behavior intervention techniques and data analysis.

Preferred:

•Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations.

•Familiarity with IDEA regulations and IEP processes.
