Job Responsibilities
•Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy services to a diverse student population.
•Conduct standardized and non-standardized assessments; analyze results and create reports to evaluate strengths and concerns in motor speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, literacy, and dysphagia.
•Develop child- and family-centered treatment plans that build on the student’s strengths.
•Ensure IEP, ETR, and progress monitoring comply with company, state, and federal guidelines.
•Collect and analyze daily data to adjust treatment strategies based on student performance trends.
•Participate in IEP and MFE meetings, providing necessary documentation for review in a timely manner.
•Collaborate with staff and other educational team members to support student development.
•Train staff, primary care providers, and team members on classroom strategies to promote skill generalization and identify students needing speech and language evaluations.
•Maintain and communicate daily schedules to building leaders and department supervisors.
Qualifications
Required:
•CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
•Florida SLP License
•Comfortable working with a diverse workforce
Preferred:
•Experience working with pediatric populations, especially those with special needs (e.g., autism).
•Credentialed with additional insurance providers.
Education:
•Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
•Florida SLP License
