Job Summary:
The Caregiver provides compassionate, non-medical support to clients, assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their well-being, comfort, and safety. This role is ideal for individuals dedicated to helping others maintain their independence and quality of life in a [home care/assisted living] environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide mobility assistance, including transfers, walking, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean living space.
• Support clients with medication reminders and monitoring health conditions.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in social and recreational activities.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social outings as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ physical, emotional, or mental conditions.
• Adhere to care plans and follow safety and infection control guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiving experience (preferred but not required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
• Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable).
• Certification in CPR/First Aid (preferred).
