Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Mammography Technologist (Mammo Tech) to perform mammograms for the early detection and diagnosis of breast disease. The Mammo Tech will operate specialized mammography equipment, ensure patient comfort, and produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining a focus on patient safety and care.

Key Responsibilities:

•Perform mammograms following established protocols and procedures.

•Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain optimal images.

•Explain procedures to patients, ensuring they are comfortable and informed.

•Monitor and evaluate images for clarity, detail, and diagnostic quality.

•Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to deliver accurate and timely results.

•Ensure all mammography equipment is properly maintained and functioning.

•Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment.

•Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications:

•Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with a Mammography certification.

•Experience in mammography or diagnostic imaging preferred.

•Strong knowledge of mammography techniques and equipment.

•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

•Ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
