Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care for patients transitioning from the ICU to less intensive care. The RN will monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

•Provide care to patients in the stepdown unit, including monitoring vital signs and managing IV therapy.

•Assess patient conditions and update care plans as needed.

•Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

•Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care during the transition from ICU.

•Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation.

Qualifications:

•Current RN license in NY.

•Experience in stepdown, progressive care, or critical care nursing preferred.

•Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

•Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
