Essential Duties:
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients before, during, and after surgical or medical procedures.
• Perform thorough pre-anesthetic assessments, including reviewing patient history and current medical conditions.
• Develop and implement anesthesia care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Operate and maintain anesthesia equipment, ensuring all safety standards are met.
• Provide postoperative care and manage any anesthesia-related complications.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and anesthesia reports.
Responsibilities:
• Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine the most appropriate anesthesia techniques and care plans.
• Anesthesia Administration: Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia and manage the airway as necessary.
• Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitor patient vitals and adjust anesthesia levels to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to any anesthesia-related emergencies or complications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Education and Training: Stay updated on the latest practices in anesthesia care and participate in training and educational programs.
Requirements:
• Certification: Must hold current certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• Licensure: Active RN license and CRNA certification in the state of practice
• Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program.
• Experience: Prior clinical experience in anesthesia care is preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in anesthesia techniques, patient assessment, and emergency response.
