About the Role

The Accounting Manager (or Staff Accountant, depending on experience) plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with all standards and regulations. You’ll manage key accounting functions, maintain clean and accurate records, and partner with other departments to keep our financial operations running smoothly and efficiently.

 

What You'll Do

  • Manage Key Operations: Oversee A/R, A/P, Payroll, and Budgeting & Forecasting with precision.
  • Maintain Accuracy: Handle general ledger activities, reconciliations, and journal entries while ensuring timely reporting.
  • Analyze & Forecast: Prepare budgets, conduct variance analysis, and recommend process improvements.
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to GAAP, prepare financial statements, and support audits.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Provide financial insights and support for projects and departmental planning.
  • Improve Systems: Maintain and enhance accounting systems and data integrity.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA a plus).
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience (Accounting Manager) or 1–3 years (Staff Accountant).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, cost control, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks a plus).
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
  • Experience in construction accounting preferred.
