What You’ll Do:

• Safe Transport: Drive and operate Class A CDL vehicles, ensuring the secure delivery of materials and equipment from the port to various job sites.
• Equipment Operation: Skillfully operate heavy machinery, including skid loaders, excavators, and other equipment critical to our projects.
• Precision and Care: Handle all tasks with meticulous attention to detail that defines a true craftsman, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport materials and equipment between the port and job sites.
• Operate heavy equipment such as skid loaders, excavators, and other machinery on job sites.
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods, maintaining schedules and adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, reporting any issues or necessary repairs.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials and equipment, ensuring proper securing and handling to prevent damage.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
• Perform manual labor tasks as needed, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle mileage, and maintenance logs.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations on job sites.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License with a MVR in good standings.  Ability to drive a manual transmission preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of commercial driving experience, 1 year of heavy equipment operation (Experience operating heavy equipment, including skid loaders, excavators, and similar machinery.
• Must be 21 years of age to drive commercial vehicle across state lines and have minimum of two years' experience of verifiable driving experience after age 21.
