Alpha Energy Solutions, LLC is seeking a motivated and dedicated Electrical Apprentice to join our team in Gonzales, TX. This entry-level position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn the electrical trade under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Electrical Apprentice will assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment while adhering to safety standards and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Support licensed electricians in installing electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, lighting, and electrical panels, according to project specifications and local codes.
• Assist in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment, ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, and ensuring a safe work environment at all times.
• Properly use and maintain electrical tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Actively participate in on-the-job training continually improving technical skills and knowledge of the electrical trade.
• Assist in completing necessary paperwork, including work orders, time sheets, and material requisitions.
• Help manage and organize materials, tools, and equipment on the job site to ensure efficient workflow.
• Work closely with electricians and other team members, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
• Learn and adhere to national, state, and local electrical codes and standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Enrollment in or completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program is a plus.
• Previous experience in electrical work or a related field is advantageous but not required.
• Basic understanding of electrical principles and safety practices.
• Strong willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• A valid driver's license is required. Enrollment in an apprenticeship program is encouraged.
