Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs, ensuring all work meets high standards of quality and safety.
• Conduct regular inspections of properties, identifying and addressing maintenance needs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, resolving problems with attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as changing HVAC filters and inspecting fire extinguishers, while maintaining accurate records of completed tasks.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours and weekend calls, ensuring tenant comfort and minimizing property damage.
• Utilize carpentry and construction skills to complete repair and renovation projects, maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the properties.
• Adhere to safety and compliance standards, identifying and mitigating potential hazards to ensure properties meet all relevant codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with the property management team to prioritize and plan maintenance tasks, while maintaining clear and professional communication with tenants and team members.
• Oversee and coordinate work performed by outside contractors, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to timelines.
• Assist with property improvement projects and participate in regular inspections to identify opportunities for enhancement.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in property management or a related field.
• Proven skills in carpentry, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC systems.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently, follow established procedures, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Effective problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting and repairs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Availability to respond to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours and weekends.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and own tools.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting (up to 80 lbs.), climbing, standing, and working in confined spaces.
