Senior AI Cloud Security Architect

Our client is a forward-thinking enterprise looking for a Senior AI Cloud Security Architect to serve as the go-to technical authority on cloud security and AI governance. What You'll Own

You'll lead the design and governance of secure cloud and AI solutions across a complex enterprise environment, partnering closely with engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to build platforms that are scalable, resilient, and secure by design.

Cloud Security Architecture — Design and implement secure architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP (including hybrid environments). Define standards, reference architectures, and patterns covering IAM, encryption, networking, logging, and data protection.

AI Security & Governance — Set enterprise AI security standards and govern AI/ML platforms, models, APIs, and data pipelines. Assess emerging risks like prompt injection, model poisoning, data leakage, and adversarial attacks.

DevSecOps & Security Engineering — Embed security throughout the SDLC. Drive DevSecOps practices within CI/CD pipelines, support Infrastructure-as-Code security, and lead threat modeling and design reviews.

Cloud Security Operations — Recommend and implement CSPM, CWPP, and CNAPP solutions. Support incident response, vulnerability management, and business continuity planning.

Leadership & Governance — Develop enterprise cloud security policies, provide executive reporting, and mentor engineering teams on best practices.

What You Bring

• 8+ years in cybersecurity; 5+ years designing enterprise cloud security architectures
• Hands-on experience securing AWS, Azure, or GCP environments
• Deep knowledge of Zero Trust, IAM, encryption, WAF, API security, and vulnerability management
• DevSecOps fluency — CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes, IaC, SAST/DAST/SCA
• Cloud security platform experience (CSPM, CWPP, CNAPP)
• Familiarity with NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, and/or FedRAMP frameworks
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field

• Large enterprise architecture background
• FedRAMP or CSA experience
• Active certification: CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer
