About the Role

We are seeking a strong Full Stack Software Engineer to help modernize and scale critical user journeys across the platform, including:

• Search experience
• Marketplace detail pages
• Booking workflows
• User account functionality
• Post-booking experiences

This role offers the opportunity to work across frontend and backend systems while helping define long-term engineering patterns and architecture standards.

You will collaborate directly with Product, Design, and senior engineering leadership to deliver scalable, high-performance applications used by a large and growing customer base.

This is an onsite role based in New York City.

What You’ll Do

• Build and own full-stack features across high-traffic marketplace workflows
• Develop frontend experiences using modern React and Next.js technologies
• Design and enhance APIs, backend services, and database models
• Improve application performance, reliability, observability, and scalability
• Partner with Product and Design teams to deliver intuitive user experiences
• Contribute to architecture decisions, reusable engineering patterns, and technical standards
• Participate in code reviews, testing strategies, and operational improvements
• Support rollout strategies, analytics instrumentation, and iterative product enhancements

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of experience building production web applications
• Strong experience across both frontend and backend engineering
• Experience building APIs and working with relational and NoSQL databases
• Strong understanding of scalable web architecture and performance optimization
• Product-focused mindset with attention to UX and customer impact
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, testing practices, and code quality standards
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment

Preferred Background
