HIRE Strategies is partnering with a leading plumbing solutions provider to hire an Outside Plumbing Sales Representative with strong, existing relationships in the Raleigh contractor market.
We are specifically seeking candidates who come from manufacturer rep agencies or wholesale plumbing distributors, and who already understand the rhythms, relationships, and buying habits of plumbing and mechanical contractors in the Triangle.
This is a relationship-driven, territory-focused role where your established network and industry knowledge will set you up for success from day one.

Supporting plumbing, mechanical, or building product lines

Call on plumbing and mechanical contractors regularly
Have built trust-based relationships in the Raleigh market
Understand product specification, quoting, and jobsite support
Know how to grow a book of business through service, follow-through, and technical product knowledge

Grow, maintain, and strengthen a territory of plumbing and mechanical contractor accounts
Leverage your existing relationships to expand product adoption
Provide product recommendations, technical support, and timely quotes
Conduct regular visits to job sites, shops, and offices
Partner with inside teams to ensure smooth order flow, delivery accuracy, and contractor satisfaction
Track activity, forecast revenue, and manage your territory with ownership and autonomy
Represent the company professionally at contractor events, supplier counters, and industry gatherings
Experience as a manufacturer’s rep OR wholesale plumbing distributor sales rep (strongly preferred)
Local contractor relationships already established in the Raleigh/Triangle area
Knowledge of plumbing and/or mechanical systems, product lines, or supply chain
Strong communication, follow-through, and customer service approach
Ability to work independently and manage a dynamic field schedule
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
High school diploma required; college degree preferred
$100,000–$120,000+ first-year earning potential
