On-Site Manager – Research Operations Center

Location: Raleigh, NC (Onsite with flexibility for some remote work)Reports to: General Manager

About the Role

As the On-Site Manager, you will be the primary liaison between HIRE Strategies and our client’s research operations center. You will lead all aspects of program management — from operations and team leadership to performance management, issue resolution, and client satisfaction — while delivering strong results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

You will manage a team of Talent Engagement Managers and support 200–350 employees, ensuring a positive employee experience and seamless service delivery. Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

Serve as the primary liaison for client leaders and teams.Attend business review meetings and present performance metrics.Escalate and resolve client and employee concerns professionally.Operations & Program Management

Oversee daily operations for a large-scale temporary workforce program.Drive KPIs including fill rates, retention, and compliance.Leverage technology and reporting tools for efficiency and transparency.Leadership & Team Development

Manage and mentor a team of Talent Engagement Managers.Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence, and professional growth.Partner with HR and Reporting teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.Employee Relations & HR Engagement

Support employee engagement, performance management, and retention initiatives.Conduct orientations, coaching, and issue resolution.Develop engagement initiatives that boost morale and support retention.Compliance & Continuous Improvement

Ensure adherence to all applicable HR policies and standards.Review program performance regularly and implement improvements.Stay current on industry best practices in HR and staffing operations.Qualifications

7+ years of leadership experience in HR, staffing, workforce solutions, or operations.Proven expertise in HR management, employee relations, and coaching.Strong understanding of call center or large-scale staffing logistics.Skilled in client-facing presentations and problem-solving.Ability to manage KPIs, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and thrive under pressure.Tech-savvy with strong MS Office skills and experience using HR and reporting tools.Ideal Attributes
