The Role: Data Scientist

Location: Houston, TX – onsite 5 days/week

Type: Long term contract

What You’ll Do: 

The Data Scientist explores operational and financial data, frames hypotheses, and tests them. This role builds predictive models for delays and durations, congestion, cost, and plan-versus-actual variance, while engineering features over the curated data layers and documenting their meaning and provenance. Responsibilities include building point-in-time training sets that reflect what was known at the time of the event and preparing the inputs behind KPI dashboards, trend analysis, and executive reporting. The role also aligns metric and calculation definitions with the semantic layer so figures agree across reports, APIs, and interfaces, validates results with business stakeholders, and produces model documentation.
