Outside Sales Representative
Central/Eastern Virginia
GRS Recruiting has partnered with a leading Process Control Supplier to hire an Outside Sales Representative for their Central/Eastern Virginia territory.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a technical industrial environment and enjoys building strong customer relationships across a growing territory. The ideal candidate is driven, self-motivated, and eager to develop long-term success within industrial sales.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow business within the assigned territory
- Build relationships with customers across industrial manufacturing facilities
- Identify new sales opportunities and expand existing accounts
- Work closely with customers to understand technical application needs
- Manage the sales process from prospecting through closing
- Operate independently while maintaining strong communication with leadership
Requirements:
- Proven success in an industrial or technical sales environment
- Strong work ethic with a highly motivated and competitive mindset
- Technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new products and applications
- Experience calling on industrial facilities such as pulp & paper, chemical, power generation, or food & beverage is highly preferred
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a territory independently
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
