Outside Sales Representative
Metro NYC Area
GRS Recruiting has partnered with a specialized instrumentation supplier to hire an Outside Sales Representative in the Metro NYC area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who thrives in an independent environment and enjoys building long-term customer relationships across industrial and process markets. This role offers the opportunity to manage an established territory while representing high-quality engineered products to customers throughout the region.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers in industrial and process markets
- Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts within the territory
- Present product solutions and provide technical sales support to customers
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing business
- Travel throughout the Metro NYC area to meet with customers and prospects
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and ongoing account growth
Requirements
- Proven outside sales experience with a track record of success
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication, presentation, and listening skills
- Experience selling process instrumentation such as pressure and temperature products is preferred
- Experience calling on process industries with engineered products will also be considered
- Self-motivated and capable of managing a territory autonomously
