GRS Recruiting has partnered with a leading Power Transmission Manufacturer to identify a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth. This role is ideal for a technically minded sales professional who thrives in a hands-on, customer-facing environment and enjoys building long-term relationships across both direct and distribution channels.

This position blends technical expertise with business development, requiring someone who can engage maintenance teams, present solutions, and identify opportunities across a range of industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow sales within the assigned territory through direct accounts and distribution partners
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across OEM and end-user markets
  • Conduct technical presentations and provide consultative support to maintenance and engineering teams
  • Support customers in troubleshooting and understanding motor and power transmission failures
  • Manage and expand relationships within industries such as food and beverage, agriculture, and general manufacturing
  • Operate with an entrepreneurial mindset, treating the territory as your own business

Requirements

  • Proven experience in industrial sales with a strong technical foundation
  • Background in electric motors, gear motors, or power transmission components
  • Ability to understand motor failures and communicate technical concepts clearly to customers
  • Experience presenting to maintenance teams, engineers, or plant personnel
  • Strong hunter mentality with the ability to develop new business while maintaining existing relationships
