West Coast Regional Sales Manager
Global Pump Manufacturer | Western U.S.
The Opportunity
A leading global manufacturer of engineered pump systems is seeking a West Coast Regional Sales Manager to drive growth across a key territory. This is a highly visible role focused on expanding market share within municipal and infrastructure markets, working closely with specifying engineers, distributors, and end users.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive regional sales growth across the Western U.S. through direct and channel partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with consulting/specifying engineers to influence project specifications
- Manage and support distributor networks while strengthening manufacturer–rep alignment
- Navigate and win business within the municipal bid/spec market
- Provide technical guidance on engineered pump solutions to customers and partners
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across target verticals
- Travel throughout the region (50–60% overnight travel)
Background & Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to understand and sell higher-spec engineered products
- Proven ability to interface effectively with engineers and technical stakeholders
- Strong understanding of the municipal bid and specification process
- Experience with centrifugal pumps (vertical turbine experience strongly preferred)
- Background could come from:
- Pump manufacturer or
- Distributor sales, with a clear understanding of the manufacturer–distributor dynamic
- Demonstrated success working independently with a strong track record of results
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and driven to win
