GRS Recruiting has partnered with a National Specialty Chemical Provider that is seeking an Account Manager to support and grow business across the Southeast U.S. This is a customer-facing role focused on consultative selling, territory ownership, and long-term relationship development with end users.
Manage and grow an established customer base while identifying and developing new business opportunities
Take full ownership of the territory strategy, including account planning, pipeline development, and execution
Build trusted relationships with end users through consultative, solution-oriented selling
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver strong service, technical support, and responsiveness
Travel regularly throughout the territory, including overnight trips as needed
Comfortable working in specialty chemicals and a technical, solutions-based sales environment
Proven consultative selling background with a strong customer-focused approach
Demonstrated success in territory growth, including managing existing accounts and winning new customers
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a professional, confident presence
Experience selling directly to end users, not solely through distribution channels
Willingness to travel regularly, including overnight travel within the region
Strong reputation as a respected, global organization in its space
Differentiated offering supported by a robust service capability and an established supply network
Significant reach through a wide range of oleochemical producers and multiple exclusive partnerships
