GRS is partnering with a growing industrial manufacturer in the power transmission sector in their search for a Director of Sales to lead its North American commercial organization. This role is ideal for a hands on sales leader who thrives on building teams, expanding aftermarket business, and driving strategy across a large territory.
The Director of Sales will guide overall sales direction, develop talent, and drive growth across the US and Canada. This individual must bring strong leadership experience, a passion for aftermarket sales, and the ability to both set strategy and stay active in the field.
Build and lead a high performing sales team with a focus on coaching, development, and accountability.
Create and execute sales strategies to grow aftermarket revenue and expand market presence.
Identify new opportunities and strengthen relationships with key customers and channel partners.
Oversee forecasting, pipeline management, and sales operations to support consistent performance.
Use data, market insight, and competitive intelligence to refine sales initiatives.
Support pricing decisions, contract discussions, and major deal negotiations.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer experience and ensure alignment with business goals.
Represent the company at relevant events; act as a key ambassador for growth in the region.
Demonstrated success driving aftermarket or industrial sales growth.
Experience leading and developing a sales team across a multi state or regional territory.
Background in roles such as National Sales Manager or Sales Director.
Industrial equipment or power transmission knowledge is beneficial.
Proven ability to create sales plans and deliver consistent revenue results.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
Ten or more years of sales experience, including at least five in leadership.
Strong negotiation, planning, and relationship building skills.
Hands on approach and willingness to engage directly with customers in industrial environments.
