Outside Sales Representative – Hydraulics

GRS Recruiting has partnered with a respected manufacturer in the Fluid Power industry seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to expand their customer base across North Carolina. This is a hands-on, technical sales role for someone who thrives on developing OEM relationships and offering innovative, practical hydraulic solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Grow existing accounts while identifying and pursuing new OEM opportunities in the region

  • Provide technical support and guidance on hydraulic systems, components, and solutions

  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently

  • Represent a diverse line of hydraulic products, including cylinders, hoses, fittings, and cooling systems

  • Manage the sales cycle from prospecting through to delivery, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction


Requirements

  • Strong background in Fluid Power, with hands-on and technical understanding of hydraulics

  • Familiarity with OEM customers, particularly small equipment manufacturers

  • Ability to think technically and provide effective, straightforward solutions

  • Mechanically inclined or capable of handling basic engineering conversations

  • Degree or formal training in Fluid Power preferred (or equivalent technical background)

  • Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and a drive to grow long-term customer relationships
