GRS Recruiting has partnered with a well-established regional hydraulic and pneumatic powerhouse to hire a Sales Manager based in the Carolinas. This role supports territory managers through joint calls, technical coaching, and project/commercial guidance.
Ride along with territory managers for customer calls and opportunity development
Interface with manufacturers and attend manufacturer meetings with leadership
Provide technical mentoring, including circuit design support and system specification guidance
Keep projects moving by helping reps stay focused and addressing commercial challenges
Travel is regional and limited: approximately 20–25% with minimal overnight travel
Fluid power background preferred (hydraulics, pneumatics, and/or automation)
Strong technical capability to support circuit design and application work
Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring technical salespeople
Mechanical aptitude and curiosity about how systems work
Strong follow-through to drive project completion and execution
Proven stability with a long track record through economic cycles
