An established and growing fluid sealing distributor is seeking a sharp, technically-minded Customer Service Manager to join their Indianapolis-area branch. This is a key leadership role where you'll supervise a small team, engage directly with customers, and support the branch's strategic operations.
Lead and manage a team of 4 Customer Service Representatives, ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
Act as the primary support to the Branch Manager, stepping in as the day-to-day “go-to” when needed.
Provide hands-on customer service, solving problems, processing orders, and maintaining strong relationships.
Collaborate with a team of 10–12 people in total
Support operational improvement projects and contribute to overall branch efficiency.
Proven experience managing a customer service team, ideally in an industrial or distribution environment.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), CRM systems, and general business software.
Technical aptitude and strong communication skills – product-specific experience is not required.
A degree is preferred, but ability, drive, and leadership matter more.
