Sales Specialist – Airport Conveying Systems

We are conducting a nationwide search on behalf of a well-established specialty conveyor manufacturer for a Sales Specialist focused on airport conveying systems. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with deep industry experience and a strong technical orientation.
In this high-visibility position, you’ll take the lead in driving growth within the airport and baggage handling sector. Leveraging your industry knowledge, you’ll engage customers across a multi-state territory, promoting high-quality conveying solutions backed by responsive, local service.
5+ years of experience with conveying or material handling systems
Proven success selling into airports, particularly within baggage handling environments
Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50–60% overnight)
Strong technical foundation; hands-on experience with mechanical systems and automation is a plus
Ability to develop and deliver training strategies that empower end-users and internal stakeholders
Exceptional problem-solving mindset and willingness to be hands-on
Collaborative spirit with a history of success working in matrixed, cross-functional environments
High self-motivation and organizational strength for effective territory management
Customer-centric approach with timely follow-through and relationship-building skills
Broad national sales territory
Backing from a financially strong private equity group
Reputation for producing high-quality, reliable products
Emphasis on fast, local service and support infrastructure
