GRS has partnered with a Process Control System Integrator & Supplier in the Mid-Atlantic region to identify a highly skilled Controls Engineer ready to shape the future of process automation. This is a unique opportunity to step into a hands-on, high-impact role with long-term growth potential.
Design, program, and implement process automation solutions using ABB Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and SCADA platforms.
Support clients in fluid handling environments by integrating pumps, valves, and related process equipment into intelligent control systems.
Work collaboratively with internal teams and customers to tailor control solutions that meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
Navigate vendor-based software platforms and apply your working knowledge of NEC regulations and UL standards.
Provide end-to-end support from system specification and design to startup and troubleshooting.
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited program preferred.
5–10 years of relevant engineering experience in process control or system integration.
Proven ability to program ABB DCS & SCADA systems.
Familiarity with fluid process systems and mechanical components like pumps and valves.
Proficiency with vendor software tools and strong general computer skills.
Commitment to quality, safety, and compliance with electrical codes and standards.
