A premier Control Valve and Steam Trap supplier is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to manage a well-established Michigan territory. This is a highly autonomous opportunity for someone experienced in valves, steam traps, or related process control products to thrive without the pressure of cold calling.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Managing and growing an existing book of business within the Michigan territory
Selling industry-leading control valves, steam traps, and process control products
Calling on power generation facilities and chemical/oil & gas customers
Developing relationships and solving technical problems for plant engineers and maintenance teams
Operating independently with full support from a strong internal team
What You’ll Need to Bring:
2+ years of outside sales experience with valves, steam traps, or similar process control equipment
A strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand technical applications
Experience selling into power plants and/or oil & gas or chemical industries
A self-motivated, autonomous approach and a proven track record of growing a territory with minimal supervision
