GRS Recruiting has partnered with a leading Valve and Instrumentation supplier to hire a Outside Sales Representative for the Connecticut market. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a relationship driven environment and enjoys developing new business across a variety of industries.

The ideal candidate is a self starter with a hunter mentality who is comfortable working independently, building relationships in the field, and identifying new opportunities within industries such as power semiconductor, biotech, and life sciences. This position offers strong autonomy, long term career growth, and the opportunity to represent a respected product portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow business throughout the assigned Connecticut territory
  • Build relationships with customers across multiple industrial and technical markets
  • Identify new business opportunities through prospecting and face to face customer interaction
  • Sell a broad portfolio of valve and instrumentation products and solutions
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and provide technical sales support
  • Work independently to manage territory activity and sales strategy

Requirements

  • Proven outside sales experience within an industrial or technical sales environment
  • Ability to sell a broad line card across multiple industries
  • Strong hunter mentality with confidence in prospecting and developing new business
  • Mechanical, engineering, or scientific background preferred
  • Self motivated and comfortable working autonomously in the field
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
