Territory Sales Manager – Northern IL/Northwest IN
GRS Recruiting is partnering with a highly regarded Power Transmission Company to find a driven Territory Sales Manager for the Northern Illinois and Northwest Indiana territory.
About the Role: We’re looking for a motivated sales professional with a hunter mentality to drive new business and strengthen existing relationships. This role is ideal for someone with a power transmission background who thrives in an independent, results-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Northern IL/Northwest IN territory.
Manage and grow relationships with existing clients while expanding the customer base.
Provide technical expertise and customized solutions to meet customer needs.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver exceptional service.
Travel within the territory to engage with clients and prospects.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Power transmission industry experience (manufacturer background preferred).
Proven success in outside sales with a track record of exceeding targets.
A hunter mentality—self-motivated, proactive, and focused on business development.
Strong technical aptitude and the ability to deliver tailored solutions.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
