Regional Sales Manager - Southeast U.S.
GRS Recruiting is partnering with a highly regarded Bulk Handling Equipment Manufacturer to find a dynamic Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast U.S. territory.
About the Role: This position focuses on driving sales growth by working closely with customers, resellers, distributors, and other equipment manufacturers. We're looking for a self-starter with a hunter mentality who thrives on identifying new business opportunities and building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities with customers in the Southeast U.S.
Collaborate with resellers, distributors, and other equipment manufacturers to drive sales.
Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
Focus on industries including mining, coal, power plants, and food and beverage.
Utilize technical expertise to provide solutions and support to customers.
Maintain a balance of in-person visits (40-50% overnight travel) and remote communication via phone and computer.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience in dry bulk solids or process equipment manufacturing.
Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and sell complex solutions.
Background in industries such as pneumatic conveying, material handling, or weighing equipment.
A proactive, aggressive approach to business development and customer identification.
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with internal and external partners.
