Packaging Specialist/Applications Engineer

GRS Recruiting has partnered with a leading Packaging Equipment Distributor in their search for a Packaging Specialist/Applications Engineer to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by supporting a growing sales team with your expertise in end-of-line and primary packaging equipment.

What You’ll Do:

�� Serve as the technical expert for the sales team, assisting with complex packaging solutions.
�� Work with corrugate and film-based packaging systems to optimize end-of-line production.
�� Provide on-site and remote support for customers, ensuring the best packaging solutions are implemented.
�� Collaborate with sales reps—some highly experienced, others needing expert guidance—to drive new business.
�� Work from the Dallas/Fort Worth office when not traveling to customer sites.
�� Specialize in automation solutions, including case erectors, palletizers, filling equipment, horizontal film seal, shrink wrap, shrink systems, and heat tunnels.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Experience in packaging equipment (end-of-line & primary).
✅ Strong engineering skills in packaging applications.
✅ Expertise in corrugate and film packaging solutions.
✅ Ability to support sales teams by providing technical knowledge and customer-facing expertise.
✅ Background in selling packaging equipment (ideal, but not required).
