Outside Sales Representative – Greater Chicago Area

GRS Recruiting is partnering with a dynamic and fast-growing Process Control Company in their search for a motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join their team in the Greater Chicago area. If you’re passionate about providing solutions in the flow control space and have the autonomy to drive success, this opportunity is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with end users and OEMs in markets such as refineries, chemical, power, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, wastewater, and aerospace.
  • Provide solution-driven sales expertise in automated valves, ball valves, butterfly valves, flow meters, and instrumentation.
  • Leverage your mechanical aptitude to understand and effectively present product offerings to customers.
  • Work independently to manage and grow the territory while receiving strong support from tenured leadership.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Previous success in a technical sales role with experience calling on end users and/or OEMs.
  • Strong knowledge of automated valves and flow control products.
  • Mechanical aptitude; a BSME is a plus but not required.
  • Market experience in industries such as chemical, power, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, aerospace, or wastewater.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and meet sales goals.
