We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join a team at a leading industrial supply company in the Southern Maryland/Nothern VA/D.C. area. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in expanding market presence, fostering relationships, and driving sales growth in the industrial sector.
Key Qualifications:
Experience: 3-5 years in an outside sales role with a proven track record of consistently growing sales.
Industry Knowledge: Proven experience calling into industrial end-user type accounts, preferably with expertise in selling mechanically engineered products, including capital equipment.
Business Development: Demonstrated success in hunting for new business opportunities and building lasting relationships with decision-makers.
Self-Starter: A driven, self-motivated individual who thrives on achieving and exceeding sales goals.
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Northern VA/DC area.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in industrial end-user accounts.
Present and promote mechanically engineered products, including capital equipment, effectively showcasing their value to potential clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation.
Leverage a consultative sales approach to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
