Outside Sales Representative

Our Client: Well-established Industrial Supply Company

Location: Southern Maryland Sales Territory

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join a team at a leading industrial supply company in the Southern Maryland/Nothern VA/D.C.  area. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in expanding market presence, fostering relationships, and driving sales growth in the industrial sector.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years in an outside sales role with a proven track record of consistently growing sales.

  • Industry Knowledge: Proven experience calling into industrial end-user type accounts, preferably with expertise in selling mechanically engineered products, including capital equipment.

  • Business Development: Demonstrated success in hunting for new business opportunities and building lasting relationships with decision-makers.

  • Self-Starter: A driven, self-motivated individual who thrives on achieving and exceeding sales goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Northern VA/DC area.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in industrial end-user accounts.

  • Present and promote mechanically engineered products, including capital equipment, effectively showcasing their value to potential clients.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation.

  • Leverage a consultative sales approach to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
