The Opportunity

Monty's Handyman Services Frisco–Plano is hiring a Service Technician to join its field team. You will deliver high-quality handyman, maintenance, and light repair work to homeowners across the Frisco, Plano, and McKinney area, with a full schedule from day one. This is a small team, so your craftsmanship and reliability directly shape how customers see the brand.

What You’ll Do

You will perform a wide range of handyman, maintenance, and light repair work across residential and light commercial jobs, from fixing a fence post to swapping a water heater to handling the small repairs that new homeowners run into. You will diagnose the real problem, do the work cleanly and correctly, and leave every customer confident they called the right company.

You will document your work in the company system, communicate clearly and professionally with customers throughout each job, and support the Lead Technician on larger jobs and commercial accounts. When you spot additional work a customer needs, you will flag it professionally so the team can follow up.

You will also keep your tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good, professional condition, representing the Monty’s brand well everywhere you go.

Who You Are

• 3 or more years of hands-on handyman, maintenance, or construction experience across a range of job types.
• Strong craftsmanship and real attention to detail, with pride in leaving every job clean and done right.
• A dependable, customer-first attitude and clear, professional communication on every job.
• Able to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Housecall Pro or similar field service CRM experience is a plus.

Compensation and Support

Year 1 on-target earnings of $52,000 to $58,000, plus a company-provided vehicle. 

Your package combines a competitive base salary with uncapped commission and a ramp bonus, so strong, productive work is rewarded directly. Full compensation details are discussed during the interview process.
