Residential Sales Representative / Turf Pro | Tampa Bay Compensation: $60,000 base + commission | Expected Year 1: $70,000–$100,000+* Territory: Greater Tampa Bay Area (7 territories)
About the Role: Waterloo Turf is launching across the greater Tampa Bay market and is looking for a driven, sales-minded Turf Pro to be its first hire on the ground. This is not a typical entry-level sales role. It is a ground-floor opportunity with a serious owner who is all in on the Tampa market and building something significant in one of Florida's fastest-growing regions. The right person will grow with this business from day one and will have access to opportunities that simply do not exist at larger, more established companies.
What You'll Do
- Drive new business through outbound prospecting, referral partnerships, and inbound lead follow-up
- Conduct on-site consultations, prepare estimates, and close residential turf projects
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with consistent follow-up
- Lead job kickoff meetings with installation crews and communicate project details throughout
- Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
- Support proposal creation, scheduling, and CRM updates
- Take on increasing responsibility as the business scales across the Tampa Bay territory
What We're Looking For
- Proven background in outside sales, home services, landscaping, construction, or a related field
- A self-starter with high energy and a competitive mindset; this role requires someone willing to grind early to build a market
- Strong communicator who builds trust quickly with homeowners
- Comfortable in the field; site visits, proposals, and face-to-face selling are a big part of the day
- Organized and dependable with strong follow-through habits

The Growth Path This role is titled Turf Pro on day one, which is a standard franchisor requirement across the Waterloo Turf system. At the six-month mark, a formal review opens the door to increased responsibility and title progression.
