Compensation: base + performance bonus = $65,000–$75,000
Status: Full-time | Some weekends required

The Role
The Scenter Manager will own center performance across sales, service delivery, people leadership, and daily operations. You will be the face of the center—creating an inviting, professional, and energetic environment for both customers and team members.


You will also play a foundational role in building and staffing the center, recruiting and onboarding a new team, and creating the cultural and operational standards that set the location up for long-term success.


Key Responsibilities


Sales & Membership Growth

  • Drive membership sales through clear, consultative, relationship-based conversations.
  • Set, track, and improve KPIs across sales conversion, retention, and customer satisfaction.
  • Train the team on the membership model, service offerings, and sales best practices.
  • Build strong community presence through local engagement and brand promotion.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard a new team of front-of-house and back-of-house employees.
  • Build a positive, warm, and accountable team culture that reflects Scenthound’s values.
  • Lead daily huddles, coaching, and performance feedback with consistency and clarity.
  • Develop team members into confident professionals who deliver excellent customer experiences.

Operations & Customer Experience

  • Oversee all aspects of daily center operations, ensuring adherence to brand standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for dogs and humans alike.
  • Manage scheduling, inventory, center presentation, and quality of service delivery.
  • Monitor financial performance, membership metrics, and operational KPIs in partnership with the corporate team.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years in a sales-forward leadership role (fitness, wellness, retail, hospitality, spa or membership-based business strongly preferred).
  • Proven success driving revenue, leading a team, and creating a customer-centric environment.
  • Warm, people-centric communication style paired with strong analytical and operational capabilities.
  • Strong leadership presence—able to be coached remotely while managing day-to-day operations independently.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and leading through change.
  • Must love dogs (no grooming experience required).
