General Manager – Stand Strong Fencing

Location: Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Durham, NC
Compensation: $85,000-$110,000 = base + commission + bonus

Job Purpose

The General Manager will lead and manage franchise operations, drive sales growth, and ensure high-quality service delivery. This role is responsible for overall business performance, including profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Represent Stand Strong Fencing professionally in the local community

  • Develop strong product, technical, and industry knowledge

  • Analyze market trends to identify and capture growth opportunities

  • Lead marketing initiatives (B2B, B2C, social media, networking)

  • Manage vendor and partner relationships to support operations

  • Oversee daily operations including sales, installations, procurement, and administration

  • Drive revenue and profitability through strategic planning and execution

  • Monitor KPIs and track business performance against goals

  • Conduct vehicle inspections and enforce field safety compliance

  • Train, coach, and develop staff using brand tools and resources

  • Evaluate team performance and maximize productivity

  • Resolve employee and customer concerns with professionalism

  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping and HR documentation compliance

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Owner

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in service/installation management with 20+ direct reports

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management (preferred)

  • Experience with EOS, QuickBooks, CRM platforms, and MS Office/G Suite

  • Valid Driver’s License; must pass background and drug screening

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive business results

  • Ability to present to and engage diverse audiences


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 100 lbs

  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions

  • Willingness to drive for extended periods
