As we scale, we’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee job execution from start to finish—ensuring timelines, quality, and customer satisfaction are always met.
Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Project Manager to lead the execution of painting projects and act as the main point of contact for clients during the production phase. This role is vital to allowing our sales team to stay focused on acquiring new business. You will be responsible for coordinating crews, communicating with customers, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and up to That 1 Painter’s high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage multiple painting projects simultaneously
- Coordinate scheduling of crews and subcontractors
- Conduct job site walkthroughs before, during, and after projects
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction and manage expectations
- Ensure jobs are completed on schedule and to spec, with quality control checks
- Handle on-site issues or change orders and escalate when needed
- Maintain accurate job records, timelines, and documentation in CRM/project management software
- Collaborate with sales team to ensure smooth handoff from estimate to production
- Monitor material and supply needs for each project
- Support team training and development of field crews as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of project management or operations experience in painting, construction, remodeling, or similar field preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing role
- Proficient with technology (CRM tools, calendar/scheduling apps, mobile project software)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
